In my art practice I seek to illuminate, rather than illustrate, relationships of place, history and personal experience. My ongoing connection with the land manifests itself as a visceral instinctive attraction to materials and surface quality, that celebrates the rich vocabulary and nuances of the tamed and untamed environment and comments on our often vexed relationship with it.
